I had an epic squee moment when I realized who the cop of the week was! I also kept an ear out because I was pretty sure I would be able to hear yours from two states away (unless you're piled under several feet of sound insulating snow, how are you by the way?) Oh, don't forget about "Normal" with Zoe as cop of the week and AD Skinner as the unsub, that was a double fandom crossover of super fun.
Also, yay for consistent accents at least among the police force. Since I've never been to Rhode Island I have no idea what that particular accent is but it was similar to the accent I heard in Maine.
Mommy JJ made me all warm and fuzzy inside.
Reid looks very dapper in a vest and I hope he continues to wear them. Even in sweater from, I miss his sweater vests.
When we saw the cop of the week, the husband went "that's one of your BoB guys". "OMG - Guarnere?" "IDK...it's one of them." The BoB guys are now mine here, and I know them better than the WWII fan in residence. I guess this means I have to stop sleeping in the early morning and finish up the DVDs.
But once my own squee calmed, there was the conviction that you were loving this episode just on the CotW front! ♥
I agree with the awesomeness of Reid's "I keep getting PhDs" for getting back at his dad. It was stated so matter of factly, and accepted by all almost as a short "duh" moment, that I almost missed it. That moment was a great team moment, great Reid moment, and great case moment all rolled into one!
