Recovering from the plague has apparently bogged me up, but I'm sticking with the to-do list and crossing things off one by one. This was next on the list!

Hope everyone is enjoying re-watching the episodes. I know that the further into the show we get, the more excited I am, the anticipation builds up for all that I know is coming.

I'm sorry you're not feeling well, luv. Hope you got the virtual chicken soup and hugs I send. *g*

So much I want to comment on. I liked the 'idea' of Kendra, but I hated the accent. It seemed to me that it was so fake. She reminded me of Fran Drescher, the way that voice just grated on me. But, I love the episodes. I love anything that Joss writes.

John Ritter. Sigh. What can I say that hasn't ever been said about him. Amazing actor, brilliant man. I remember when the episode first aired and I was watching it with my mom. During the commercial breaks, we were sitting there reminiscing Three's Company. Miss him ( ... )

I did, and thank you! Sorry it's been so long but I'm just now getting back up and caught up.

Kendra's accent, faux accents in general tend to raise hackles with me as well, but I love the character. And there is nothing wrong with a Tony bias - more and more, as I watch, I'm finding a Giles love that I didn't realize I had.

The switch is so so so good, and I love Angelus. Always have, and could go on and on about the blend of Angelus/Angel. I've always seen them as a hybrid in the end, the soul more of a conscious than anything else. One of the things I loved about Spike in the beginning up to the chip, and then after when he came on Angel, was the sheer joy he took in being what he was. LOVE IT. Angelus is the same way for me, to the nth degree.

DUDE. Major hometown squee!
