You're just noticing this now?

I gave it a future date so it's always at the top of my journal in case someone ever wants to be added to my journal. That way I can find it easily.

but arent all of your entries friends only? so if someone wants to be added, that is the only entry they will see...they wont have to look for it.

It's not about them being able to find it. It's for me. It just makes it more readily available.
