So, I have been managing and supervising for 5 years and I'm kind of tired of it. Mostly, I'd love to have a job where I can get tips, because I am incredibly friendly and outgoing and know I will do well. And I'm tired of corporate bullshit ( Read more... )

Ahh, well the only times I've worked under the table I am often not payed on time or 'forgotten'. I am also nervous because I receive financial aid and need a trail of taxes for them to follow.

I would suggest banquet waitressing, especially at a country club. This is the exact time they would be hiring. You will have to work weekends but you are guaranteed your tips as they're written on the bill for the patron. You don't handle any cash, as the members have accounts. You have a high class clientele. You will do weddings and other banquets where the menu is set. You bring the people chicken, fish, or beef. Every one gets the same sides. You just bring out the food, fill the water glasses, serve the cake, coffee, tea. They get their own beverages from the bar. Also a guaranteed tip.
