If it's for pregnancy, not Chouchani. He still requires enemas and shaving when you deliver.

OMG thanks! I will take them off my list. My first pregancy and birth went really well, but I'm not an 'old school' type girl. I wanted (and got) all natural, no interventions, using a squat bar! Thank you again!

I've had issues with him too which I'll list below. His partner, Sayegh (sp?) however, saved my mom and sister's life when she delivered my sister. Not sure Adel could have done the same.

may I ask what insurance you have?
I'm not pregnant, but I also am looking for an OB for a check up and someone to talk to about getting back on bc.

Adel Chouchani is a decent doctor... I started going to him when I was about 15 (I have endometriosis and needed OBGYN services young, lucky me). However as I got older and wiser I noticed that he's the kind of doctor who doesn't like to listen when you have things to tell him and can be quite unsupportive. I have infertility (on top of my endo) and after a surgery for the endo I wanted to start fertility treatments and he insisted that I go on Lupron to control the endo instead-- that's a drug that basically puts you in menopause and most women who've been on it report it's horrible in many ways. He also yelled at me on the phone while I was in a restaurant, literally, on my birthday for asking for a refill on pain medication during a crippling endo flare. I had taken like 20 pills in a month and he thought I was abusing them and gave me a piece of his mind on it... subsequently I sat at the restaurant and cried. His secretarial staff is also very rude and snooty and I'd have to wait a long time to be seen for appointments. I parted ( ... )
