I've been following Lisa around from Salon to Salon for years: http://s7salon.com/
Her cuts are $35. She's very good at taking direction, but also has good ideas. She spends a long time on my hair (important as I have thick hair) and always styles it nice afterwards (many salons have sent me out the door with a wet head... ugh). I also like that she's not obsessed with the current trends of hair and can do good, basic, classic cuts if needed. I'm sick of stylists that need only put serious effort in avant guard stuff.
If you call - leave a message. She hasn't hired any stylists other than herself yet and is sometimes cutting someone else.

I go to Patty at Split Ends, she is on Delaware Road in Kenmore across the street from tops in that little plaza with UPS. I love, love, LOVE how she does my hair ... and she only charges 15 bucks!! WHAT! I know, right? There is no website but a quick google search returns the phone number: (716) 873-4247.
