Why can I not find crayfish in the stores when I'm ready to buy but otherwise they seem to be in?? Why must you torment me, Oh Supermarket Gods??!

Crayfish... hmmmm... I remember in 4th grade we had to raise a crayfish with a partner, and once they grew to their full size we had a contest to see who's crayfish could hold onto a piece of paper and dangle the longest. Dunno whatever happened to mine-- I think my partner took it home.

Now that I've regaled you with my super awesome entertaining story, I gotta ask... do you eat them? Probably a stupid question since you were looking for them at the grocery store. Never did try eating them before.

Crayfish are da shit. You gotta get them cajun boiled tho (sometimes I see them at Chinese buffet, totally gross there). Try them out at Chester's. They bring them to the Taste of Buffalo but you can just go there and order 'em.

I'm not sure about purchasing them for home use, but I've always liked Chester's Crayfish. As usually I would stop by their tent during the taste of Buffalo. The sad part is I've never went to their place on Transit Rd. But for some reason I've always managed to grab them again from them during the Erie County Fair in front of the AgriCenter.

Yeah, it was best when they had the all you could eat crayfish on Tuesdays, but then they got rid of it because they were losing too much money so I stopped going. :(

They usually have them at Tops on Niagara street.
