Summer Events

Hey Dorks!
   Its been a while since I've had a reason/opportunity to post here, but I have one now.

My daughter is 17 months, she walks, runs & talks, and I am looking for some fun events this summer (both with, and without her).

I plan on going to the Sterling Renaissance Festival, you should check it out its AWESOME! I don't know if I'm going to

I usually hit up the Allentown Art Festival, the Elmwood Avenue Festival of the Arts, and the Taste of Buffalo.

We're members at the science museum. It's nice because they have a hands on playroom type thing upstairs that kills some time. We do storytime at Barnes and Noble, there's some special events there now and then, we do a bunch of parks and whatnot- Evangola, Chestnut Ridge, picnics. Niagara Falls is nice to walk around.
My son just turned 2 so if you ever want to do a playdate or something let me know!

We're going to go to the Science Museum to see the Sesame Street Body Exhibit, I think it's up till June.

there are themed festivals going on almost every weekend across WNY - beenews.com, iloveny.com, and metrowny.com are good places to watch for upcoming events
there are parks to explore - NYS parks, Erie Co parks
there are hiking trips (wnyhikes is a good place to start)
and the zoo and the science museum have events going on all the time as well! :)
