Eyes. Again.

My daughter is 4 and sees Dr. Awner for her eyes. Her vision is getting worse. As in, she can't read the clock on the cable box five feet away anymore. He can't get her in until June 4th and I don't think she can wait that long. Plus, her school nurse wants her seen sooner because she failed the school eye exam even with her glasses ( Read more... )

My family has always seen Dr Pfohl. http://www.ecvaeyecare.com/aboutus/pfohl.php

Our eyes match all the rest of our medical history.... complicated. I haven't personally seen him, but one sister had an ulcerated cornea (multiple times... she's an accident waiting to happen) and the other he oversaw thru chemo for Lupus that was especially hard on her eyes due to blood vessels being involved. They both recommend him routinely.

Dr. Pfohl no longer sees kids, but I made her appointment with Dr. Montesanti. Thanks for the tip!

I see Dr. Battaglia at Sears Optical in the Galleria. He's great! I suggest trying there.

I see Dr. Komm w/ Niagara Lab Masters. I have typically been able to call and get an appointment within a week to 2 weeks (and that is with me being picky and going for appt after 5pm.) There are 3 locations - Tonawanda, Niagara Falls, and Lewiston.

One note - they do not take Univera, however, they will give you the form (and even fill it out for you) to mail in for reimbursement.
