Perfume sample donations to womens shelters?

Recently, one of the regulars where I work was kind enough to donate a box of perfume samples from her work.  There are only a few of us here so after taking some samples for ourselves, we still have a bunch left.  I thought I had heard once that shelters appreciate woman's toiletries including perfume for their clients as kind of a pick me up.
