Is there a fee to go to Evangola Beach?
I'm thinking of taking my daughter there tomorrow.

I think there's a small fee to park, but I think it's only a few dollars.

Evangola is a New York State Park, therefore there is a 'vehicle use fee' charged upon entrance. Basically you pay to park there. The fee is normally $6. The web site: http://nysparks.state.ny.us/info/programs.asp indicates that the fee can be between $6 and $8.

Seconding what everyone said about parking. You guys will have a blast. :) It's a really pretty park, and in addition to the beach there are plenty of grassy areas to wander thru, and several swingsets for her to play on.

You'll pass a couple farm stands too, I think.... can't remember offhand if they're before or after the park on route 5... great way to pick up some fresh corn for dinner tho! {I'm headed for the farmers market in just a few :)}
