I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good primary care physician and/or a good OBGYN...? I live in Buffalo (next to Wegmans on Amherst), and the closer the better, but I dont mind traveling a little if I have to. I'm just generally nervous about health professionals, so I'm trying to be careful about who I go with.

Thank you muchly!

Cleve-Hill Family Medical on Kensington and Eggert. I have Dr. Majeroni but there are any number of doctors there. They accept new patients. They always have an opening for when you are sick. You may not see your regular doctor, but when I'm sick, I don't care who writes the 'script.

Dr. Michelle Frech at Southtowns Women's on Commerce in Hamburg. I think they have a northtown location as well.

I don't change doctors much. Dr. Majeroni is only the second doctor I've had as an adult. The previous internist I had retired to become president of the AMA. Before that I was going to a pediatrician. I'm some 30 years from having a pediatrician. ;)

I'm going to disagree very very strongly. Do not, do NOT join this practice. I am currently here, and looking very hard for a primary care dr to replace Dr. Majeroni. She is a great doctor, and if you need to see her, you will have to make an appointment 3 months out. For months now, I have had to go to the emergency care unit because they -have no appointments-. None. Not just with her, with -any- doctor, and they have several Attending, and a zillion Residents. The staff alternates between awesome, rude, and negligent. You can never get in touch with your doctor. No one calls you back, even if it's important.

Dr. Majeroni and Dr. Malik need their own, private practice, because wow, they are great. But I can't deal with the crap anymore.

Just my warning. I've been going to them since 1999, and I'm done.

Wow. OK. I've only considered another doctor because Cleve-Hill is a bit from West Seneca. I've been to most of the doctors there and had great treatment. I like having the zillion residents because they seem to be very up to date. Granted, Dr. Majeroni is hard to get an appointment with for sudden illness. I'm willing to see anyone when I have a sinus infection.

Me too, honestly, but I've had an impossible time doing even that. They refused to see me for over a week, and sent me to emergency care, for exactly a sinus infection. And then an ear infection, and the same for my husband (who turned out to have pnuemonia, so better he went where they had instant x-rays, in the long run). I am sad, they delivered my baby, they have known me forever, but I just can't get to see them.:P

Dr. Marsilia Cloud for your gyno!

It's been a couple years since I've seen her cos I move around a lot, but the couple times I saw her, she was great.

She also may have changed locations. She used to be in Tonawanda, but I feel like the offices moved somewhere else...

For the primary care I'd say Dr Gregory Jobes from Buffalo Medical Group but he's in Orchard Park so it's a bit of a travel but he's awesome.

UB Pediatrics and Internal Medicine on Linwood (either 300 or 500, I don't remember) is great! I see Karen Torre, but I've also seen John Yowpa and Joseph Cronin there. I really like them.
