Where is the best place to donate clothes? A place where they would be given to people and not just turned around and sold. Or if it is better to do it that way, tell me why ( Read more... )

I just drop mine in the yellow bins around town. Planet Aid I believe they are called.

I took a bunch to the Buffalo City Mission on E. Tupper St. We just pulled up, opened the trunk, and a guy came over and took our boxes and said thank you. Easy cheesy.

Shameless self plug, but I work at a refugee resettlement agency and we're always accepting donations of clothes (especially warm weather clothes). For any of the four agencies in Buffalo, we have people coming in all the time (especially from warm weather climates) and they could always use new/used clothes :)
