Payment Plans blondebaroness December 16 2008, 21:43:42 UTC
I called my vet about this. She said that most vets don't do payment plans. She recommended Carecredit.com. She said that you apply for a care-credit card. The vet accepts that as payment (like a credit card.) Then you have a payment plan (with a charge of course) to carecredit. That might be a way to deal with your situation.

Ellicott Small Animal Hospital will work with you on the cost and they also do a payment plan (I believe through Care Credit, but you don't have to go online and sign up, they take care of it for you as far as I understand)

I love them :)

My kitty (you know, the one that looks like your lovely old one) had a major case of breath stank for a long time. Basically, she had really bad teeth, and they ultimately needed to be removed. That was EXPENSIVE.

So if the kitty vet tells you that your new cat needs teeth removed, please don't feel like you need to do that in the next week. You have some time to save (although cuddling with kitty will be smelly).

Maybe try SPCA.. or they have a list of cheap vets too.. or at least they recommended one to me at the time. I haven't been in years as my cat is no longer living with me.. but that's a long story.
