Another option if you're on a budget is hire a photography student. One of my girlfriends (who is now in England doing photography) when she was a student was hired to take wedding photos. She charged $75 and took photos of the pre-ceremony, ceremony, post-ceremony group photos, and reception. She then burned all copies to a cd/dvd and signed over the copyrights to the family.
My friend is a photographer and has done weddings before. He lives out in Rochester and has a full-time job elsewhere but if you're interested I could talk to him to see if he'd be willing to make a trip & what his rates are.
Still have to ask about rates & if he'd be available (what is the date?), but here's *some* of his work (I know it's not much but he doesn't have anything else up on the internet right now):
