Oh joy! To have the internet back! To be drawn into drama and arguments both political and philosophical! To want to rip my hair out because I spent 2 hours chatting about stupid shit and have not eaten anything yet.....I am gona go do the recyclables and find something to eat.....see ya all

Ever-fresh optimist that I am, I got my hopes up again.

Know what I notice that really galls me? (Old word ... maybe shouldn't use it.) Even well-structured threads seem to just die away ... I don't get it. Maybe I'm perverse in my persistance, but gawd with the problems we're facing I don't understand how folks just, I dunno, wander away. Even in a site that seems dedicated to rationality. (My work is all about finding a better form than the usual forums.)

Well people cant stay in the same topic forever. Most of the time people just repeat themselves over and over, most people in a debate never change their mind....just get really angry
