такая тенденция наблюдается, во всяком случае, я это вижу среди знакомых своих. американские евреи считают, что поселения - плохо, экспансия, оккупация, русские евреи говорят, что это не поселения, это - Израиль.

Perhaps because US Jews had an easier life in the last 20 -30 years than Russian Jews? Perhaps because US is more democratic country than Russia and principal of equality are more respected here, thing like Prop 8 notwithstanding?
