I'm tempted to use Gary Larson's reply when asked a similar question: "I have a trunk in the attic labelled 'ideas'..." :)

Most of them are suggested to me by the title, but by me playing with it. Someone gave me the title "The Beast" once, and I remembered that the largest roller-coaster in one state or another (had to check it at the time) was known as "The Beast".

The story based on another title - MY WEASEL BETRAYED ME - came about because I'd recently read a piece in the newspaper about them retiring polar vehicles (used for getting around antartica), and they were nicknamed "Weasles".

Another one - COLD - came from the kids' game of hide and seek...

But glad you like 'em, anyway... :)
