So, I kind of researched into meditation to see what kinds of things you get from it, and how to do it properly. I've recently made it a hobby of mine (or a way of life) and I must say; I feel great about it! The soothing sound of the appropriate music, and finally having absolutely no thoughts. I really had no idea that meditation could actually produce an altered state of consciousness until I had a professional massage a couple months ago. It was a little mind-blowing. I've been really interested in taking it up since then, but with my ADD and anxiety, my brain is constantly running and changing channels and it's next to impossible to turn it off most of the time.

That's exactly how I felt after doing it! I felt so relaxed and filled up with peace. Oh, really? That's a major bummer, sorry to hear about that. No chance for you to get back to doing it?
