Body sensations are not at all uncommon in any type of meditation. As for what it can mean for you, that's something nobody in this forum can really say. Definitely ask your teacher.

sounds pretty good to me. it sounds like you held your seat. it is interesting to notice that emotional thoughs can usually be twinned with some sort of bodily sensation, and as with other things, the more you pay attention to them the more you will notice them. and it is a good way to deal with both physical and emotional pain, to notice it, let it go if you can, and let it be if not.
i am a big fan of gil fronsdal, who i think you might know or at least know of, and i got the 'let it go or let it be' thing from one of his guided meditations. i notice that if i say it, it resonates with other people too.
