It's interesting how much "changes". However, everything was meant to happen in this way. In a way, last year, I knew what would happen with the people I met last year. Five years ago, I knew who I would still be friends with, who I would get to know better, and who I would never be able to talk with the same way again. It's as if time is pervasive

Our elementary school teachers told us about TAG kids who stayed friends long past graduating, and I could barely imagine it. But now I can believe it.
Ironically, this is mostly because of people like picky-Nikki-tiki whose Alzheimer-afflicted brains can't even remember back that far. ;)

Also...I got your answering machine message (When you left the message, I'd just gotten out of the shower but I could hear it from upstairs). Wednesday it is! Derek knows he's taking me too, right?
