Really liked Sulu and Chekov here and simply ached for Jim & Bones. I agree with Sulu, they're strong and they'll get past this. Might take a little while.

OP here. Thank you so much for writing this! I know it was kind of a weird prompt, but you filled it really nicely. I love the way you made Sulu so supportive of Jim, and the fact that everything isn't okay at the end, but it will be eventually.

Contains: Violence, obviously. This story is mostly about the recovery, though.
