Last week one of the highlights of being at the game was watching our band. I cannot tell you how much I miss being at games; not just because of my love for the buckeyes, but because of how awesome TBDBITL is. Seriously, this was half of the halftime show:

I hate to tell you this, but Michigan's band did that half time show a couple of years ago. The TV one, that is...So something tells me it's just a routine show that gets passed around from school to school...

The one they did ended with the Star Treck insignia, which was AWESOME because Patrick Stewart was at the game, and conducting. AND it was the game just before OSU (so it was two years ago, now I remember...it was when we were 1/2 in the rankings heading into the game), and Stewart told UofM to go forth and beat OSU. It was really cool (he was in Ann Arbor with the Royal Shakespeare Company).

See, I know other bands are pretty cool and do pretty cool shows, but this weekend at State I was telling one of my friends about the TV Land show and they were surprised. They said all State's band ever did was make a formation and stand still. So it made me appreciate the band that much more. And honestly, UofM's band doing that show doesn't surprise me, weren't they reason we have script Ohio?
