The new president is moving into the White House with his MIL, according to NH tv station. That's as far away from WASP as you can get. Go ethnic!

UPD1: H! They said H. They said "George Walker Bush", but "Barack H. Obama". Ethnic - :(

UPD2: Of course the exact moment of the swearing in I missed, because my child needed me :)

I'm actually pretty positive about what can happen, especially in the minority community. Now that it's much more difficult to play the constant victim, the leadership will have to play a different song.

I bet the meaning of Obama's Presidency is different for the minorities in ways hard for us to perceive. It's not really what his job is all about, and there is a lot more to do and worry about.
