I really think than the cans affect the flavor of soda. I always go for glass bottles first, plastic bottles second, and cans last if I can't find the other two.

I haven't figured out if dislike the metallic taste from cans or the plastic flavor from plastic bottles more. I just know that glass bottles rock!

I'd like to try this as a double-blind test.

Well, you gots to have some Mexican markets down in MD. Hell, isn't there one right around the corner from Sara's place in Gaithersburg? Check to see if they have Mexican Pepsi. Not sure if Pepsi Throwback is widely circulated yet.

Yeah, but I don't recall ever seeing any Mexican sodas there. My Safeway has Throwback, so I've bought a few cases. They had a buy 2 get 2 free for cases of everything bottled by Pepsi (including Dr. Pepper), but I missed it. And yeah, I know about Dublin Dr. Pepper, but it's absurdly expensive because of shipping.

Oh yeah, and here's a comparison I plan on doing that you might find interesting

Regular Dr. Pepper vs Dublin Dr. Pepper!

I'm also trying to see if they make a Mexican Dr. Pepper to make it interesting.

I don't really like Mountain Dew, but I do plan on trying the Throwback to see if it is any more pleasing to my palate with sugar rather than corn syrup

As a guy who lives in Mexico, I find the fact that you liked Mexican Pepsi offensive.

It tastes godawful. It tastes like AMERICAN soda. Drink Coke instead, it's a lot more sugary.

That's the thing, I don't like my sodas too sweet.

I'm not a huge fan of Pepsi to begin with, so I'm just saying which of these three Pepsi options available to us, I like best.

And it tastes NOTHING like American Pepsi!
