When I saw that your friends used the dance from Final Fantasy VIII in their wedding, I literally exclaimed aloud "Oh my God." I guess I'm not sappy, and FFVIII is the sappiest one in the series (it's essentially a love story), but I guess that makes sense for a wedding. I'm currently hooked on FFXII..no love songs there, just political intrigue and Star Wars homages. But still, congrats to your friends, that is really awesome.

It wasn't so much that we care about FFVIII--it's sappy as all get out and so on--but we were trying to find a good waltz, and due to the sappy nature of FFVIII it has useable waltzes. I think we tried to rip one from another game, but it wasn't the best sounding and might've been hard to get to the DJ.
It is a good waltz, don't get me wrong. I know the scene. I am just happy that I'm not the only one who thinks Final Fantasy games have some really damn good music.
Plus, there's no way my girlfriend would let me use an FF song if we ever get married, so, I'm a smidge jealous. :-)

Cory finally showed me the scene in question, and it is SO sappy. But it's a beautiful waltz. You guys chose the awesomest music.
