so the sky got cloudy right around sunset. i was pissed. but it cleared up a little before midnight. having no friends (well, at least no one around...), i just decided to go sit outside smyth for a while. i saw four meteors in about 25 minutes, which i suppose is pretty decent for being in the middle of a college campus, which sits in the

but I ended up driving out into the country a while around 1 a.m.
dunno if it was still kind of hazy, or if I was too close to the city still, or if my eyesight is that bad, or what... but I couldn't even see the stars all that well (they looked dim). Saw a handful of meteor thingamabobbers, though, which I suppose is cool.
