A belated very happy birthday to turps33! Terri, you're the sweetest person around and I hope you had a great day. ♥

So it's been almost a year since the greatest thing of all great things ever happened, and I think maybe what I love the most about it is that I still get the happiest feeling whenever I think about it. The thing with me (and I'm assuming ( Read more... )

Awwww, this is the first time I have genuinely liked Brian. What an amazing story ♥ It's really awesome you guys got to share something so personal - I bet it meant a lot to him (and obvs. to you :D)

Also, how did you purchase an upgrade? Is this something you have to be a fanclub member for? I'm the kind of fan that apparently finds out about their tours about a month after they've already been on sale, haha, so maybe this fanclub business is actually worth the money, IDK.

Brian is amaaaaaazing! ♥ ♥ I'm just glad it's something I have after a freaking YEAR that still makes me smile like an idiot.

It was a fanclub thing, yes! You could buy a VIP upgrade where you were secured a spot for soundcheck, you got to meet them and take an individual picture with them, you got a signed photo AND you got to stay inside the venue once soundcheck was over so you could be first inside the arena (since it was general admission for me.) It was pretty expensive, but OMG, worth every penny. And the crew really seemed to respect that we'd used a lot of money on this, because the venue crew was about to kick us back out in line when the tour crew came over and insisted we stay.

I LOVE the fanclub, though, I gotta say! Probably not the best thing in the world, but it's got good features, especially when it's touring time. Plus the videos are awesome. :D

Also they have a pre-sale feature for concert tickets! So that's something that could help you. :D

Aw, they seem like such nice people when I hear things like this! Out of all the concerts I've been to BSB is my favorite ~ they always seem to genuinely enjoy performing, which makes me have a fabulous time watching them ♥

Yeah, the reason I never find out about these things is they tend to skip my state and head straight for Washington, so even though I have my venue on alert to tell me if they tour, they can't because technically they aren't coming to town. So fanclub would probably tell me regardless of where they are going, which is useful.

I did the Nsync fanclub back in the day and that's how I got to attend their soundcheck. Unfortunately they were already so popular I didn't get to talk to any of them or get autographs or pictures D: D: D:

How expensive are you talking here? Is this like how Britney's VIP package was over $500 a person? I'd have a hard time justifying that expense, ngl, but it would be kind of awesome all the same.

I thiiiink it was 300. Or 350! So not too bad, but still a chunk of money. But for me it was totally fine, because I never know which tour is gonna be the last, so I always try to get the most out of it that I can. And I don't like going out to find them outside their work. :/ I don't know, it's an embarrassment squick. That's their private time.

I totally agree! They're always hyped and happy to be there, and they don't take themselves too seriously, it's awesome. Also Howie and his swiveling hips tend to hypnotize me. IT IS SO NICE. You know what I'm talking about!

You should totally join if you wanna be caught up! About a month ago they had a live webcam feed up while they were recording in the studio, it was really cool.

Bwah! Well, I've been into them for like a year now, so it's been a while. But yeah, they're disgustingly readable. Damnation!

It really is. ♥
