okay, this might sound weird, but that first line? god, i LOVE that first line. ink and pancakes - so weird, but so fitting, and just, i love that it makes aj sound so out of place. i know i keep saying this, but i really, really love how well it came across that aj and brian are worlds and WORLDS apart in the beginning, and then you slowly start to see that hey, no, they've got stuff in common, and you can TOTALLY see the attraction - which, duh, they've had from the beginning - BUT THEN THE AFFECTION STARTS TO GROW, TOO, WHICH OMG, SLAYS ME DEAD, OKAY. for SERIOUS. but anyway, that first line, right, and then aj comes out all hesitant and awkward, and i fucking LOVED that. the transformation from like, confident and cocksure in the bedroom to not being able to deal with the morning after that smoothly. so PERFECT. i loved that you can always tell how not-him this job is, and then with nick you have the PERFECT foil, because i can't imagine him doing anything else!
BUT THEN, OKAY. THIS LINE: a complete one-eighty from the disheveled
