Hope you all had a wonderful year in 2008--and best wishes for 2009!

I walked in the door today after 6 days in L.A. and it was freezing. Apparently somebody had turned on the AC instead of turning off the heat, so I stepped into a tunnel of freezing air blasting into my face. Brilliant, my family is.

Sounds like you've had a relatively productive year! Good luck with the classes next semester (I had the same goal last semester, actually... but I blew it after midterms. All those straight As halfway in the game lost to an assortment of As and A-s, one B+ (though it was a 2 credit class) and two grades that remain unknown that I so badly hope aren't as terrible as I think they are... *sigh* Apparently finals do not agree with me). And the job/internship! And I know you'll be amazing with the writing! And wow, you're a musician? That's so awesome. I love it when people play music on the streets and the train station in NYC, and I think just randomly playing music for fun with a guitar case sounds like an awesome goal. You should really put up some of your music--I would love to listen! And I never knew you liked KH too (seriously, I am absolutely obsessed with that game. It took me ages to finish KH, and in the end, I only finished it a month or two before KH II was released, and I bet it will take me another three years to finish KH ( ... )

Ohh, I totally know what you mean about the grades--this semester just flew by in such a blur! I haven't actually had time for things like Kingdom Hearts, unfortunately--shameful, but I haven't even started it! I've been waiting forever to play it, though, but it just feels like winter break isn't long enough...

And you know, the rereading_hp community was supposed to finish up the entire series (eheh...), but we didn't get past the second book. Makes me kind of sad, but maybe the mods and I'll be able to kickstart it again; I'm sure there's still lots of people who want to read it...

And I'm always up for any kind of book, but my favorite genres are most definitely fantasy or romance ^^ or both.

This would be a great time for the rereading_hp community to kick back into gear; but unfortunately, I've put all of my manpower into writing ^^; we'll see, but you're welcome to join!

And I've been wanting to read Holly Black's novels as well; happy new year, and good luck with everything!
