I've been abysmally missing (although I can't say missed!) from LJ lately, I thought I might as well do a brief post about what's actually been going on.

I was just thinking, damn, what happened to the resolutions we made about updating and keeping up with each other? haha the cake was really fun to make <3 super expensive and time-consuming though, I'm glad it actually (literally) paid off in the end! (cash prizes ftw~~) I'll admit that I'm terrible at checking my f-list still, but how have you been??

Yeah, I'll bet it was expensive, and definitely time consuming! You can literally SEE all the effort that went into that cake. AND YAY FOR CASH PRIZESSSSSSSS!

I have been good :) Still unemployed, mostly babysitting and blogging for money but it's not regular enough and I'm still trying to save for America so yup. Not much else news-wise other than that!

oh man...can you remind me what my resolutions were again? I have actually-no joke--forgotten them...is that a bad sign? But I'd be glad to do that! I'm a better enforcer (er, sort of) than I am a keeper!

LOL people don't know what waffles are?! That is ridiculous. Good luck finding your waffles! Or better yet, make 'em yourself! I got a waffle press for $10, but I don't know if you guys have those if people don't even know about waffles...

I love the cake! <3 Dr.Seuss was probably my first ever book would you know? The Cat in the Hat, in particular, holds that title, so it's got a special place in my heart. ;) I love how you've got a cake of it~ <3

Funny, I actually don't think I remember reading The Cat in the Hat until this year (sadly!) when I did a paper on it for my Chaucer class haha :) Funny how those things work out. And thanks! Hope everything is going swell on your end, too!
