Well, I've been on Twitter since last June, not just a few weeks ago when every news story had to reference it at least four times, and since I have TwitterFox (meaning the tweets pop up in the corner of my browser) I use it for news update from MSNBC and amusing thoughts from web comic writers mostly. I recently started to actually update the thing more since my mom is now on Twitter.

That's right. My mother is a Twitter user. No, it's not my fault.

Well... okay. I find it easier to accept that you're using it more for news and information.

I do wonder if when every news organization had a five-minute segment about Twitter a couple weeks ago, as you mentioned, those that were already heavily into it didn't go, "Pff. WHATEVER. I was using Twitter before it was cool."

I did once say that to be silly. But even though I'm on Twitter and have carved a niche out for it, I am rather confused, and sicken at times, with the fetish the media developed recently.

STOP IT! JUST STOP IT! Talking about Jim Cramer and Jon Stewart's "fight" was more newsworthy.
