You just made my day a whole lot better. And there are a lot of things I want to say, about how immeasurably thoughtful and incredible you are, and about how I truly think there are levels of -isms out there, and that in the culture and place I grew up in, antisemitism is one of the most subversive because so long as you stay within certain marked guidelines, no one says anything, and about how livejournal has honestly taught me more than any education I have in my day to day life and how in even a year, I can look back in horror at some things I've said and done --

But that I will do later. Because right now, I really want to just bask in the knowledge that you're on my flist.

Oh yeah, it's a learning experience all the way around. I just came upon this particular incident today, and I keep clamping my jaw shut.

From the get-go-- "we didn't find anyone that objected, so we figured our sample was good enough," to "Oh, wow, somebody turned out to be hurt after all!" to; "Would you do the work for us?" the mods seemed... young.

What I found interesting though, was the unwitting psychological portrait of one person. Why did marieantionette decide to speak for the group, I wonder? Is she a needy, masochistic drama queen, or am I off the mark?
