What's the story behind that last picture? Why was Mikey laying on his back (no doubt, with his legs in the air) ??

That was SD Pride 2006 -- after walking the parade route and right before going into the festival on Saturday (and right after the big group picture we took). Mikey (and the rest of the gang) all sat or laid down in the grass (no legs were in the air and no animals were harmed during the process).

Surely you recall how all us bearses were walking along the end of the parade route, liftng up our shirts every thirty seconds and shouting "Yaaaayy !!" One of my best San Diego memories :)

YES, that was fun - we had our own contingent in the parade (unofficially that is). One of my fav moments from SD Pride 2006!

Dude! Thank you so much for this post and all the photos. They bring back awesome memories.

Can you believe it's been almost 3 years since I moved here? CRAZY. It's been awesome to be in town and be able to hang with ya.
