Well, notice it wasn't Susan Collins camp who was trying to get this guy off the ballot. This is the same as Democrats who hate Ralph Nader 'cause he splits the Lefts votes. I'd love to see an actual 3 party system, but right now it's Blue A/B and Red.

A party divided....

mmm, yeah, I know. I really want a three party system... a lot... just really burns me that people can get so pissed over the fact that this guy is running against them... gah. It's the kind of thing I would have hope that the party would take the high road and just let it be. Politics seem to be like wumf some days, I like it when it really sucks me in, but half the time it makes me sick.

"Blue A/B and Red". Kind of sounds like booths at the Red Cross. "Number 75? Number 75. And what type are you, and do you have enough iron today?"

Mad LJ speed reply skills.

I've almost given up on feeling like I want to be a part of any party. A multi-party system would be amazing...but it will take till long after we have stopped caring about politics for it to happen.
For me, I feel that there needs to be a centrist party...for others there needs to be a socialist party...and for others there needs to be an even more conservative then we've got party.

I think that the dems were acting like pussies in this instance. They should have welcomed the chance to compete in a marketplace of ideas. Tom's gonna loose, and its goign to help them with their fundraising anyway when he does.
Anytime collins does anything remotely republicany they will get thousands of dollars in donations.

Yet another reason why I can't do the politics side of political science. I am all about the NGO side of it though, or the helping ppl side.
