I cried a thousand tears during the last fifteen minutes of part two.
Matt Smith does seem a little bit awkward in the role right now, but I have hope that he'll grow into it. I wasn't sure about Christopher Eccleston either when I first watched season one, but I did come to adore him as the Doctor. I think it's just my dislike of anyone not-Tennant in the role that's making me wary.
Saw them, enjoyed them, was nearly able to ignore all of the gaping plot holes. It was an interesting send-off, and I respect the decision to make his death a lot more dramatic than 9's. I will miss "Allons-y!", though.
Yeah, ignoring plot holes is a key skill to have when watching Doctor Who. I did like the way they did Mr. Tennant's death, though it took a little longer than I thought was believable. But all in all, no complaints here.
Technically, radiation poisoning isn't all that quick. It could take you hours or days to die from it if you don't die immediately from organ shock. I wish they had done more with makeup to make him look like he was slowly dying rather than just knowing his time had come. It would have made the "hanging on to say goodbye" more meaningful.
Yeah, for sure. Makeup would have helped a bunch. As it was, I started wondering when it was going to be over, which took away from the end a little bit for me.

I'm still not sure about Matt Smith. He seems too young.
