I always find myself really insecure when I end up with colors this strong. I'm afraid that my eyes have gone wonky and I'm just unable to tell strong from glaring. But this one just felt like it needed strong colors to back up the strong imagery, and it's downright wonderful to hear you think they work. Yay again! :D

And yeah no i seriously mean every word, i really lover this pic :) I toooootally get what you mean about not wanting to go to saturated, colour can be damned scary! But yeah, i definitely think it works for this one. And like, its not just the concentration of colour that works, but the shade and placement. I really love how it kinda whirls around our spikey, all shadowy in all the right places. :P

I don't know if it's a crime against some lingual rule to say this, but you just totally made my day for the second time within one day! Lol. It's truly wonderful not to mention interesting to hear your thoughts about these things - you're such an expert whereas I've barely begun to learn the basics. If something I make ends up working it almost always has a much greater deal to do with luck than skills. But I'm super-stubborn, so maybe that'll change some day... :)
