ROUND 6 THEMES
Remember the sign-ups are gonna be open through the whole round. This round is gonna be longer than usual. Since the deadline was going to to be on the 21st, I thought of letting that time extend until JANUARY 5TH. Extra time is always needed this time a year :)
RULES:» All icons must be made specifically for this community, each round you decide to participate in. No prior work can be submitted. The icons have to be all different, meaning that you can't make an icon for a claim, alter the coloring (for example) and then use that as another icon of the set.
» All work must be your own, not someone else's.
» All images must be PG RATED. Meaning no depiction of violence or either genders 'bits' visible. If you're unsure, just ask.
» They must fit the livejournal standard. (under 40kb, 100x100px and either .png, .gif or .jpg file format)
» You must link us to your icon journal giving 3 examples, not just banners link to your icon post. Or you can post them here under a cut, still giving 3 examples before it.
» Post the completed icons at once and link directly to the set.
» Icons however can be posted before voting goes up. Once you've signed up to enter the challenge you will be given moderated posting access which means a mod must approve the post before it can be viewed.
» Don't submit your icons to this post.
» ALL entries are moderated which means that we have to accept the entry before it's made visible to the public.
» Please, if you participate try to check out the other participants entries. (another reason why there's an unlocked rule.) You want people to check out yours and vice versa, it's fair game.
» You can use the provided table, but you can use your own as well. But keep the themes in the right order!
» When posting your icons to the community, please ensure you put Round 6: "your claim" as the subject.
»From this round on, a mod will add your tags. You don't need to do that.
» The sign-ups are open through the whole round!
» Deadline is January 5th, Midnight @ your timezone.

*Accessory: depict your claim (or any of the characters from your general claim) wearing a visible accessory.
ex.
morpho90, naushika, setentpet
*Purple: must be a dominant color in your icon.
*Quote: include a quote from the show into your icon. It doesn't have to be a quote from the character you chose or from your specific claim. Just a quote from the show.
*Reason: try to explain, through your icon, why you chose your claim and why you love this particular season/character/pairing.
You can give an explanation in the entry of your journal for fun if you want to, but it's not necessary.
*Profile: Your character/s has to be iconed in profile.
ex.
redconcubine, iconsoleander, longerthanwedo
*Out Of Character: icon your claim outside of their character's image. That means no screencaps/images from the show, only the actors and actresses. If you chose a general claim, you can choose a cast member (or even more if you like).
*Soft Glow: your icon has to show a soft glow aspect to it.
ex.
setentpet, starry_night, xlittledreams
*Re-Cast: think about your claim (or one of the character of your general claim) and come up with an actor/actress to replace the ones who already played the character!
5 CATEGORY: HOLIDAY TIMES
There aren't many joyful times in Buffy and Angel, that's true but there are some holiday episodes nonetheless. Holidays do include Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, anything you can think of. Icon those times! You can also add textures or whatever you want to recreate the holiday atmosphere.
