Oh, I spend a couple of months away from livejournal, and I come back to this. I'm so happy! Of course, I have a request for my favorite icon maker! =)
I want one banner/wallpaper, to act as a background to my journal. Kind of like the picture I have there right now. Honestly, it just needs to be a corner (either side), not too large, and fade out on the other 2 sides to 1 color which works best for you. I'll find a layout that goes with the banner after you've finished, and mess around with the CSS to make sure I match the layout background . :)
All I want is for it to have an Eiffel Tower there somewhere, or some kind of a parisian feel to it, and have this breathy textury feel most of your icons have. Preferably a light color, as I'm not a big fan of dark layouts.
Can you make it? Pretty please? You're the best.
Now, I'll go catch up with your newer post from the last few months. =)
Real Life has been demanding a little more time, lately. I was looking for a new job (which I start next week) and I've gone back to school. Well, kind of. I'm in a prep course to try and pass the exam for the institute that forms diplomats in Brazil. So it's much more studying than I ever did in my academic life.
Oh, well, I'm glad to be back too. Probably not quite as active as I've been before, but I'll try to steal a moment here and there.
About the size, I don't really know. I guess it can be as high as the space in a browser, so no higher than 600px? It can be smaller, though. And maybe, around 400px wide? It can go a little over, and it'll be partially covered depending on the layout if the entry is long enough, but that's perfectly fine. It looks good either way, I'll adapt the layout to it, I don't even know what layout I'm using yet, anyway. =)
Great you found a new job, congrats. Are you already started there? I know how real life can be. My life's very busy also, working extra houres so I don't have enough time to update.
I hate school, so I stopped when I could start working whole days at my job I already had (only a few houres in the evening). So a lot of respect for you! =)
I started on your banner/background. I'll upload a preview tomorrow to let you see, since I'm not sure if it's like you want....
