I loved the episode! Thought it was really funny. And I've noticed this season that they are making so many pop culture references - it's surprising but so cool!! I got a real kick out of "swifted"! I also loved James and Katie interacting. I really like their dynamic. And - yeah I'm really not crazy about Lucy.

Dude, I'm always happy for the James-Katie love fest okay? She so dotes on him, and they just have this great relationship. Katie's relationship with Kendall is super-sweet too, but the connection she has with James is so adorable! And their scheming little faces!!! AHHHHHH.

I know!!! I loved the episode when Katie was going on her first date and James was all protective. so cute!
and on a side note - I'm so happy James is pushing his hair back off his face now - so hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and I another note - I loved when Kendall said "pretty idiot"

Have very much enjoyed the first two eps. Love the return to irreverence and gross humor (James vomiting in ep 1). Loved the references in Scandal altho I was surprised they went as far as Kanye. Wonder what Taylor Swift thought? Loved the reference to season 1 as James used the hockey cage to protect his face. At one point I thought James was acting too much like Jett. But then Jett showed up and out-Jetted him ( ... )

And the boys coming through was absolutely adorable. I LOVED the Ot4 feels there. It just made me feel so much nostalgia, especially after the helmet season 1 reference! <3

And yeah...god, the DRAMZ. Me thinks we could do without it. :p

Here's a weird thing: I'm stoked Lucy is back but it seems they've made her a bitch now or am I imaging this? She used to be cool? (Did you notice they made her song hilariously bad?)

I think Boy Meets World did this concept better. I understand that Lucy couldn't be the next Alanis Morissette and had to be the next Taylor Swift because of the current music landscape. Gustavo saying that Lucy was the current pop princess just felt wrong. Of course the show isn't going to go into all the goings on of Lucy's career, but it is disappointing that the writers would choose to go the love triangle-square/love drama route rather than do anything else. Besides, I was confused about how we're assume it's supposed to be Kendall she was talking about. From what we heard, the song was very vague and could be about anybody ( ... )

Oh my God, Boy Meets World! I just recently went on a BMW kick and watch like...every episode I could find on Youtube! AND the re-runs in the morning. I ADORE that show. It was gold.

And yes, "Loser Freak" would have made my entire week, okay? Especially since it's kind of...accurate. lol

I was just bewildered Kendall picked Jo over Lucy to begin with and now I kind of have low expectations of him. I used to describe them to people as "Carlos is the dumb stupid one, James is the pretty stupid one, Logan is the smart stupid one, and Kendall is the normal stupid one." Now I'm not sure.

Kendall's brain and/or personality kinda disappears when he has to deal with girls, it seems. Like Big Time Decision, he never would have let someone leave the Palmwoods because of him, just like he wouldn't let Jo stay because of him. He wouldn't have accepted that, especially since he cared about Lucy, and he would have tracked her down and had a talk. Since that never happened, she wrote the album, and actually I was happy to see him acting stupidly angry and putting his foot in his mouth by challenging the non-truths in Lucy's songs (instead of walking away) because yeah, anger management issues. Season 1 Kendall would be hurt and angry.
Wait, what? Fiction? TV show? Oh yeah.
But really, how many eps can there be about something coming between Kendall and Jo dates?

James is damn funny.
