I wound up having to block this little girl - 15, maybe - on tumblr because she had been one of the ones who begged, pleaded and whined for Kendall to follow her (and God, I wish he wouldn't fall for that, but he's gotten better!) and then was proud cause he'd direct messaged her and said, essentially, "I can't reply to your tweets cause they are too inappropriate."

And she was delighted by this.

I gave up.

I don't think much fazes Kendall but some of the stuff she claimed to have tweeted him would have made Nickelodeon as an organization shrivel into the ground. And I can only imagine the others get the same type of stuff.

Before BTR, I was in bandom, and things like slash ships being brought up really didn't bother me; there was so much stage gay in the bands that I focused on, it was just kind of an 'eh, whatever' for me. But now, being in the BTR fandom, slash ships being brought up squicks me so bad, like, there's so much secondhand embarrassment I have to walk away to get over it. Even in the Supernatural fandom where a lot of the actors play up the bromance and slashy aspects, I still get squicked whenever a question is asked about a certain ship, especially to the two main actors who really do not buy into shipping stuff. For a lot of the SPN actors that do play up the slash and bromance, it's to keep them relevant and popular, completely taking away from the show itself and I just - no. It's nauseating

Yes. I'm uncomfortable with just being hit on. I always look away awkwardly or stare right at them all confused and straight forward until I realize, and then run the fuck away. It's sort of terrible actually. Lol (btw saw you're self proclaimed asexual? Think I could talk to you about it sometime? )
