I heard about Heffron Drive around late winter of when the BTR fandom started when other fandomers were introducing them to us. I think I heard it was his Twitter name at some point but I probably hadn't believed it at first, lol. I really like Stand Forever, Time Wasting, and Quet Please; the melodies sound really nice and there are a lot of interesting lyrics they wrote, overall too. I'd like more music released by them but I'm not optimistic. They each show a lot of promise of continuing to be good artists, of whatever genres and whatever ways, though.

When I first listened to them I was a little surprised that they were writing their own lyrics but once I got over that I really listened and was kind of impressed by some of them.

I did know about Heffron Drive but I hadn't checked the songs out until this weekend - this post must be fate! Or something :D

I like them, even though in some songs, it's a little hard to hear the actual singing over the music. Which is sad. I don't really use my iPod much at the moment - but yes, I have one - but when I do use it again (for vacation or whatever), it will definitely be on it!

I haven't had a chance to take a look at the lyrics in depth yet, but I like what I've seen/heard so far!

First listened to Heffron Drive sometime early last year. Love the expressiveness of Kendall's voice. Not a huge fan of synth but have known so many friends who've recorded their own demos and it always plays a big role. Do love the guitar on Time Wasting but it's always Stand Forever that stays stuck in my head. I know the boys have embraced BTR but when it comes down to it I prefer the rawness and honesty anf frankly the underproduction of Heffron Drive. Would love to hear more from them, they clearly have talent. Anyone else think it's funny to hear what Kendall does with his original music, then watch him singing and dancing to "Boyfriend"? Have you watched/listened to "Memories and Melodies"? A man of many talents. As fine of an actor as Kendall is, I think this is why the band members always say they see him having a successful "rock thing" career.

I feel like their music fits Kendall much better than what he's now doing with BTR. His voice fits right in.

I guess they will pick up their work again after BTR separates, because I seriously doubt the boys will stay together forever. To be honest, it seems to me like Kendall is using BTR to get famous so he can become even more famous with Heffron Drive afterwards. Personally I don't have a problem with that, because I like their songs and I like DBelt. Seems like a cool guy:)

I've known of Heffron Drive since I first started following Kendall on twitter and they've been in my playlist for a while (my youtube one) and I actually plan on having one of their lyrics - part of it - be my first tiny tat.

"The shortest pencil is better than the longest memory." I just really connect with that thought, having written about everything in my life, all my life.

I love HD because not only does it showcase Kendall's voice and let me concentrate solely on him, but because their music is FUN, has a harder edge that suits both their voices. Their twitter street team swears there will be more Heffron Drive, and I really hope there will be; think of how much stronger Kendall's voice has gotten over his time with BTR, how much musically he and DBelt have grown - it should be epic. I also love the few pictures of them from back then; when I rp Kendall, HD Kendall is who I see in my head.
