HE'S NOT MAKING A WEIRD FACE!!!!!! THAT'S IT. THAT'S IT. I adore his weird faces don't get me wrong, but I'm so used to seeing his expression twisted into something hilarious that seeing him even halfway serious is kind of striking.

More lucy episodes are always good, yes! (see above badassery) and yeah I'm thinking it won't bug me either. And I also just really enjoy the fact that she's ETHNIC. I mean I know peeps don't like to talk about it much, and Nick actually does an okay job what with the black Jeniffer, Kelly, and well, Jame sour token Jew, but it'll be nice to see Kendall with a lady that has darker coloring (hair and eyes) and completely different features y'know? And an edge that's even snarkier than Jo, and a bit more mature as well.
I actually disagree about them doing an okay job with James as Jewish, since they, y'know, made him Christian in Big Time Christmas. I think that episode was a mess generally, but more specifically, if the character is supposed to be Jewish/half-Jewish, they needed to actually say so, and as far as I recall, they didn't. Celebrating Christmas = Christian, unless specifically stated otherwise. So while Mazz may be Jewish (half? I don't remember), James Diamond is not (even though Diamond is a Jewish last name), and that really bums me out -- growing up as the only Jew in a very religious, Christian town, it would have meant the world to me to have one of my favorite characters be Jewish. Alas.
But as for introducing more characters of color, yes, that is an awesome thing, and Malese Jowe is great.
How do you feel about the potential for a cannon relationship between Kendall and Lucy? I love the idea of that pairing! Since I know Kogan or Kames or Lumille isn't gonna happen (probably XD), I really hope this is gonna happen. *nods* Do you ship them or do you not? I do. Would you be more likely to ship them if they weren't eventually cannon? Um... no? I don't know; I don't actually ship them hardcore or anything; I've never read a fic, for example, but I do like the idea of them, whether it's canon or not. How do you think thier relationship might differ from Kendall/Jo? I think it's gonna be A LOT more interesting. I don't know in what way, but...
