I thought there was supposed to be another round of the slashathon, with actual challenges this time.

You mean another week of the grab bag ficathon? I don't know what you mean by actual challenges.

No, I mean like what you started with. People sign-up for a prompt and then they write a fic for it. A slashathon.

Actual challenges are not one word prompts, colors, dates, holidays, names, or the like. They actually contain a situation the story is based around.

Example: Apollo is left behind after the fleet jumps during a Cylon attack.

Ah, yes. We were talking about doing a fic exchange over the holidays, so that a person would write a fic for another member, but we were unable to do so due to time constraints. I came up with the grab bag event because I felt bad we hadn't done anything in a while. Unfortunately, there are far too many other fic events happening around livejournal right now to hold another even so soon.

As for the "actual challenges." We've never had prompts that specific. I believe they're too limiting, personally. But during the events like the comment ficathons in which members leave prompts (or a fic exchange, which we have yet to do) -- anyone is free to prompt whatever they like - including scenarios such as the one above. I'm sorry you're not happy with my prompts. I'm doing the best I can.

Hi everyone
I'm rather new on Livejournal (joined today) and I'm trying to find my way around here. I'm looking for beta Readers for one or two short BSg Slash stories. Nothing special, but my first attempts on Fanfiction and English is a foreign language for me so I would really appreciate if someone could go over my phrases and stuff. I know there are special forums where People look for Beta Readers but I can't seem to find them...This was the first Bsg Slash relatet side i could find.
Thanks for any help you can offer

You are more than welcome to re-post this to the community as a separate post. I am not able to offer you a beta right now but it's possible that some of our other members are.
