Reaching out, and latching on, and failing, Gaius/Gaeta (need, also incorporated sunshine), Rblue_crowOctober 19 2008, 05:27:16 UTC
He wasn't so sure why he was so stupid. Intelligent, yes, not a genius as the doctor had called him in their earliest moments, but sharp enough when it came to science. Somehow he never managed to measure up when it came to the social sciences. And now as he stood in the shower, tilting his face up to feel the hottest water the ship could give him flood down over his skin and he couldn't help but feel utterly lost

Oww....
This was really good, and sooo sad! When I first realized you were going to write him going to have sex with Gaius of Season 4 with the cult, I was frankly shocked, but you made it work, gave it just the right tinge of disgust and desperation Felix would need to convince himself to go over there and yeah, I think it would only work for Feilx if Baltar were begging to be dominated, i.e. essentially giving Felix an outlet for his anger. But I also liked the way you analogized Felix's choice to sleep with Baltar with other dubious partner choices that have been made on the show - Dee and Lee, for example, even Kara and Sam - choices that have been made in the context of an post-apocalyptic world.

Excellent! You completely captured what Felix's perception would be at that time I think. This felt very canon. Your descriptions of Gaius's deceptive lure was spot on.

...did the prophet guy just get a booty call? 'Cause that is all I can think of calling what Gaius just did there. Haha, this is great...and poor Gaeta, I want to stop him from getting on the Demetrius! Also, the way you have Gaeta describe Gaius is just amazing.

Bleak, man, but oh so compelling.
The last three paragraphs were absolutely killer.
