I must admit, part of my reason for choosing this story was that when I showed millari's story to my pal andy who adores Iron Man, his reaction was "No, Tony, no!"

ETA: Btw, wanted to apologize for the delayed comment. Was at a work conference all day Friday and nowhere near Internets. I only knew my remix had been posted because my girlfriend called me to tell me. :)

Truthfully, you have to remember I have difficulty resisting a crossover. I seriously sat down and watched Iron Man to do this.

I have to admit, the draw for me was that Tony is something of an asshole like Baltar but actually something of a decent guy despite his asshole tendencies.He'd like someone like Gaeta. (yes, eventually he'd get a lil bored with Felix's good guy tendencies but I like to think they'd rub off on each other)

I'm glad you liked Felix's annoyance at Tony's game playing and his turning it back on Tony. One of Tony's problems is that his games with people really aren't that clever. They mostly depend on people conceding that they can't afford to bitch about how Tony's being an asshole. And Tony knows it, which is why he's genuinely stunned by felix basically telling him how he's being an asshole and everyone including both Felix and Tony know it so get it out of your system.

The little part in the last quarter, where Felix talks about how Cottle thinks he's kind of always considering suicide-by-proxy, is this ( ... )

Gaeta's snarky defensiveness makes me laugh and cry. But there's hope for him yet, thanks to Tony. I love the dark breezy banter at the end.

I think Tony kind of called it with the idea that Gaeta wants someone to rescue him and let him be naive again. Also really, he so wants to do Tony. Who doesnt?

I like to think Felix was sorta at the end of his rope here, just totally pissed off that the whole Earth thing ended up with him and some jerk of a guy making fun of him where he realistically can't say anything. He lost it and let Tony have it with the vitriol he'd been storing up for years! I am glad you enjoyed it!
