This is almost like a meditation on cylon-ness versus humanity. Nicely done, especially how visceral Sam's admission feels.

Thank you! All the dialogue for that is from the original fic.

Great fic. I'm usually not one for Bill Adama (especially season 4 Bill), but I really enjoyed this one. I also like the analysis of cylons that goes on here, which really kind of expands to the whole show and not just Bill in particular.

Bill puts his trust in things he can see and understand. Like actions. Yes. Bill Adama to a T.

I like Adama, though like all the characters on the show not all the time. Thank you!

I like this. To be honest I had been hoping it would go down like this, with Galen or Sam confessing earlier on for the safety of the fleet if nothing else. And Adama's thought process is interesting- I can't lie, it makes me sad that he never really had scenes with Sam, for all that he's practically his son-in-law, so there's a lot about this that fulfills a lot of my secret wishes. :) And on top of that, tying in Caprica- the Greystones, the deaths of his mom and sister, the first Cylon war- it works like this, in the context of a tentative peace with cylons so many years later. Very nice.

Thank you! I, too, wish the show had gone this way. And with Caprica, there's so much stuff that could be tied in.
