Title: No Companionship

Summary: A look into the inner mind of Richard Adar’s wife. Though I’m telling this story in the 2nd person, I feel it necessary to note that in developing this character’s back story, I’ve named her Lisa.

Oooh. I like this for a number of reasons. This was a really unexpected remix, and it makes me feel, well, a mix of things.

I love it when peripheral characters are developed; Mrs. Adar is about as peripheral as you can get, but here you really give her a voice and make us realize that she was really getting screwed (or not, as it were) in this deal. This is a very real exploration of the slow realization that something is wrong, and the person you loved isn't that person any more ( ... )

Miss, "The person writing your remix contacted me, worried and intimidated."

It was great. Thank you again for writing it. *hugs*

Thanks for giving insight into a character I'd never even considered before. I can imagine a lot of politicians' spouses having this internal dialogue, keeping the exterior of a life polished and pretty for the public while the interior is falling apart.

This is haunting. I feel for Mrs. Adar. (Laura's affair with him is one thing I found hard to accept.)

Wonderful Fic.

You really made me feel for Mrs. Adar. You really never think about her at all in the episode/series, you know, out of sight, out of mind. Reading about the dinner party actually left a bad taste in my mouth.

I really do love how this just makes Laura Roslin more human. We know she's made decision that were deplorable, but it's interesting to read this from the perspective of someone who was left in the footprints of her choices.

I still love Laura though!!

You have a name, though it’s his.

You have money, though it’s his.

You have access, through his connections.

Killer lines. We keep hearing the hype about how the world of BSG is past sexism, but it isn't, and this is an example of how it isn't. Even her revenge is through his tricks.
