I love it when peripheral characters are developed; Mrs. Adar is about as peripheral as you can get, but here you really give her a voice and make us realize that she was really getting screwed (or not, as it were) in this deal. This is a very real exploration of the slow realization that something is wrong, and the person you loved isn't that person any more ( ... )

You really made me feel for Mrs. Adar. You really never think about her at all in the episode/series, you know, out of sight, out of mind. Reading about the dinner party actually left a bad taste in my mouth.
I really do love how this just makes Laura Roslin more human. We know she's made decision that were deplorable, but it's interesting to read this from the perspective of someone who was left in the footprints of her choices.
I still love Laura though!!

Killer lines. We keep hearing the hype about how the world of BSG is past sexism, but it isn't, and this is an example of how it isn't. Even her revenge is through his tricks.
