And when I awoke, I was alone, this bird had flown.
Honestly? Can you think of anything more appropriate? Really? Okay, to be honest, I’m not trying to make everyone focus on the poof, but I suppose with this fanmix, my goal was to really explore the obstacles in Kara and Lee’s relationship, the uncertainty they battled throughout the series; but at the same time, no matter what struggles they had, they always returned to each other.

Despite the poof, I firmly believe Kara will always be watching over Lee. Head!Kara anyone?

I wasn’t going to let this mix be entirely depressing. One of the things about Kara and Lee is that no matter how much they fought, it would never drive them apart forever. I think on a more lighthearted note this song really speaks to the cyclical nature of their relationship that even through they keep being driven apart, they’re always drawn back together. (I can have hope right?)
