Simply beautiful in its simplicity. My heartaches for the young Kara and I wish could have had her dad.

I've very happy you liked it. I'd loved to have had a father like Kara's myself as well. Must ahve been a bit of wishful thinking on my part when I wrote it, but I'd like to have imagined her having someone on her side back then to balance out the treatment she received from her mother.
